A few eco doings

I know this blog has been very nephew and Christmas oriented lately (and there's going to be more in the next few days, since I like to document events for family members who can't be here, and also as a record for myself.)

So here's a quick vegan/eco post!

I had a few bananas that were quickly going bad.  I just wasn't into making banana bread at the moment, so I turned to my trusty The Joy of Vegan Baking, where I found a recipe for a delicious banana crumble.  So simple!

I had plenty of vegetable scraps in my freezer, so it was time to make another batch of broth.  I threw in some whole peppercorns and bay leaves with the vegetables, and that was it!

I am trying to get back into the habit of making tea for Mr. GV.  We've got quite a stash of flavored tea bags, so really I don't have a good excuse for this one except laziness!  It's much cheaper than buying the bottled tea that he likes, and more ecological as well.
