Geocaching at Stick Lake

One February day, Mr. GV needed to replace a geocache that had gone missing (stolen/washed away/muggled/who knows.) We took J with us and after Mr. GV hid the geocache, we let him "find" it. We called it treasure hunting, and he was ready to go! First we hung out at the dock, enjoying the chilly but sunny day.

Then we handed over the GPS to J, so he could start looking.

With a little (ok a lotta) help, J found the geocache and was able to pick out the one piece of treasure he wanted most. And then Mr. GV's head became the mountain for imagination time.

Although it looks like I'm just holding him up in the air, there's really a stump under him.

And here is why J named it "Stick Lake" (not its real name.)
