New friends, old friends

On our way back home from J's birthday trip, we spent some time with our friend in Atlanta. He has adopted the sweetest little whippet, Nori. Here Mr. GV has her tucked inside his jacket, where she promptly fell asleep. No, she's not underfed---this is the way whippets are built, along the lines of a greyhound.

We spent a night with our friend, and then J and his mommy came up the next day. Mom, Mr. GV and myself attended an event, and all of us spent a night in a hotel. J enjoyed his new friend's chair. As he said "I'm the ting of the jungle!" when he sat in this chair.
