A very nice crystal bowl, given to us when we got married. I simply am not that attached to it, and don't really have a good spot for it. I'm also trying to get used to not holding on to things because of who gave them to me, or what the occasion was. I need to remember that once an item is given to me, as a gift, I am then free to do whatever I want with it. I appreciated this item for its beauty, displayed it for many years, and now have passed it on to someone else who I hope will get to enjoy it!
The socks are some that my husband did not want, but they are in good shape.
Two drying racks. Again, something that I used in the past but don't need right now, so they have been given to someone who hopefully can use them.
(Edit: My sister, S, took both the drying racks and the bowl. The socks went to my mom's house.)

Awesome - I've been doing this too - liberating even "nice" stuff, or gifts, or stuff that was once useful. I've actually found the greatest feeling of lightness and joy when I gave away things with strong feelings attached to them. They just didn't serve a purpose. It was like this guilt, or history, or importance...that just felt heavy. Love just giving it away! Find i'm able to be so much more creative, the fewer things I have. Need space to create
