You were only with us a bit short of 5 months, and we know you had a hard life before you came to foster care a year and a half ago, but I hope we gave you a few happy months, where you knew you never had to fear being hit, or chained up, or forced to give birth to puppies yet again, and never had to worry about where your next meal would come from.
