J and I have made cookies together once before, and we were both glad to try our hand at Christmas cookies! I made up sugar cookie and gingerbread cookie dough ahead of time at my house, then took it over to Nana's house Christmas Eve.
J enjoyed playing, um, I mean *working* with the flour. (And on a kinda odd note, he apparently enjoy eating the raw flour.)

Then it was time to cut out the cookies. J decided which shapes we would make, and then we cut them out together.
Yum! Fresh spicy ginger cookies!

After the cookies cooled, it was time to ice them.

And then time to add "
frinkles."
We decided to poke a hole in a couple and hang them on the tree.

Here's our gingerbread family--Mama, Daddy, and baby.
